Installation Solaris 10 U1 on ESX 3.0 is a breeze!

Really, it is! I've installed three Sol 10 VMs and now I will go ahead and do the Oracle 10gR2 preperation.

I'll be posting some peeps print screens soon as well. The rest should follow in our ongoing "RACing ahead with Oracle on VMware" series.

Oracle 10gR2 RAC : Solaris 10 U1 on ESX 3.0

I've started working towards installing the OS and then we will continue with our quest on RAC on ESX 3.0.

Here we will continue the database installation and go ahead with the Listener configuration as well.

On another note I got a note from an Oracle user who worked pretty darn hard to compile a book (pdf format) from the evergrowing RACing series. It was already 200 pages thick!!! Imagine and we still need to do Solaris 10 RAC work and also the AIX and HP-UX. And then we have the administration series as well.
